You’re hired for the permanent position, temp. Since The Office I have been saying that Novak was an underrated genius. This is further proof that I was correct. There are so many layers to this movie, so many things to be interested in. It’s comedy, it’s suspense, it’s drama, it’s modern day living vs what is sometimes ‘traditional american’ and sometimes barbaric (one world vs another) and the moments where you see Novak’s brain seeping through (‘watching America burn and standing in the corner laughing at it’, paraphrasing of course, one of many moments), had me in awe and yelling ‘EFF YES!’ (minus the soft core language). The acting and characters were perfect (BRAVO to ALL CAST!), it was not predictable (and even if you thought you knew you weren’t sure). What can B.J not do? I love this guy’s brain. 10/10 will watch again, will recommend, will provide much deserved praise. Encore! Best movie I’ve seen in a VERY long time. It’s hard to find a movie that is thoughtful, touching, intuitive, mysterious, creative, interesting, and funny all at the same time, but Novak does it seamlessly… just; excellent performance, direction, and writing. Okay, I’ll shut up now.

*What a waste of time.. the concept for the movie was there, but the budget, acting, script continuity and general execution ruined it. I was literally mad by the end. So many plot holes, so many irritating characters, no character development, and the science they describe is literal nonsense. They could have at LEAST consulted with some real scientists so they didn’t sound so ridiculous.. My brain hurts. Do not watch this.
