Mediocre, stiff dialogue, no character moments, poor storytelling. We don't know anything about character motivations and desires outside of what the main plot tells us we need to know. Was expecting a lot more out of it, but feels like what the trailers shown is what we get, which is very little substance. Went in with 0 expectations and came out indifferent about it. If it came out all at once I don't think it would have hooked me enough. There's just nothing to hook you with. Cinematically it has very bad framing, lit too evenly, but set design is amazing, feels a bit video gamey though. Can hardly tell it's in "high republic" era, supposed to be ancient times according to Jedi Survivor, but feels like a decade prior to Episode 1. Odd show.
