I really don't like this adaptation. They changed everything that made the original something that I loved. I heard "mansplaining" 2 times in the first 20 mins and I couldn't believe it. Techna and Flora were also written out of the group. Flora gets downgraded to a cousin and yet the other girls get to keep their names? The world is also not well built. This feels like a Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina rip off and I really don't like where they took this show. It's far too dark while the animated was bright and had a good world built and nice character development. What happened to a good story with good characters and good character development? Instead it's changed to dark themes and political views and identities stuck all over and the story takes a nosedive. All in all a very bad adaptation... The World of Winx animation Netflix did previously was far better than this and did the lore of winx and the world itself and the characters far better than this.
