I honestly have no idea how this movie has so many 5-star reviews. You have to be on drugs to watch this movie and actually enjoy it. There is absolutely no logic in the plot, the writing is horrible, the dialogue is so unrealistic (teenagers would never in a million years act like the teenagers in this movie did). I cringed so many times I had to look away from secondhand embarrassment. Overall this movie was a poor attempt to explore “woke” topics like being a young gay teenager and immigrant, which are both topics that need to be represented more in film, but this movie was NOT the way to do it.
