I don’t understand the negative reviews here at all. This is an outstanding sci-fi drama, that has everything. For those grumbling about historical accuracy, they’ve missed the point of a reimagined space race where the Russians got there first. I found myself overcome with emotion on many occasions - the script and acting is nothing short of brilliant. I’m not a binge TV viewer, but I smashed both seasons out in four days because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. It’s inspirational, happy, devastatingly sad, tense, thrilling and perfectly balanced between all of these conveyed emotions.
