I thought that this was an astonishing product, quite different from any other TV drama which I have experienced. We have our individual awareness of the genocides which have taken place over the years but, however tragic, they tend to remain remote to many of us. Not here - we share deeply with the emotional experiences of those previously involved, directly or subsequently, with what happened in Rwanda. Though the horror is evident,it is communicated in an almost beautifully sympathetic way; I was particularly impressed with the use of drawings/almost dream sequences. I also loved the music/song used in the opening credits. How sorry particularly I felt for Kate as the truth unfolded - her range of reaction and expression was remarkable. Well done to all involved; particularly Hugo Blick - a tour de force! .
