Stick to what you know and write a movie about lounging around on yachts or something. Being poor isn’t something you can pick up and play with for your ego trip of a movie

I’ve been a long time fan of dragon age. The first game was almost perfect. To say I’m disappointed after a TEN YEAR wait, is a massive understatement. It’s a middle finger up to loyal fans of the game who want dark fantasy role play, intriguing and well developed characters, acerbic and intelligent dialogue, a good story and quests… It feels like it’s catering to a woke contingent of Gen Y who enjoy Fortnite. I could forgive the cartoonish character design if this was the only flaw, but it’s one of many. The romances are something I’ve especially enjoyed in previous DA games, and in Veilguard, it’s beyond dire and lifeless. You’ve even lost the ability to argue with your party members, because every decision and line of dialogue is designed to not offend. A total disappointment and waste of time. It’s an empty shell of a game and a slap in the face of long time fans.

A bit crap, really. Don’t watch it if you’re religious, because you will inevitably be offended. Felt like a whole lot of nothing. No suspense, no scares… the reviews from critics are quite misleading. I was expecting more, of well… anything?

Knew what to expect, and I’ve watched a lot of horror and gore in my time. However, something about this movie left me feeling queasy, depressed and just… off. I don’t know why the makers felt like this was a story that needed to be told, it really doesn’t. The only redeeming quality is the cinematography. There are way too many instances lately of attempting to normalise this subject matter, and the fact I felt sick to my stomach at times, just goes to show that this really is NOT and never will be a normal topic. If you enjoy feeling depressed, give it a try. Otherwise, don’t bother
