I have watched ncis since the beginning. it is my favorite tv show. unfortunately the show is no longer the same. the chemistry is gone. all of the charismatic characters are gone. When Caitlin Todd was killed that was shocking, I liked the interaction between her and Tony. When they replaced her with Ziva David immediately the chemistry between tony and ziva was just mesmerizing so the change did not affect the show. For me, the downward fall of Ncis started with the departure of ziva. Then my #1 character Tony Dinozzo left and that was too much to bear. Tony was a lovable character, he made the show special. he was funny, smart, handsome, and a great agent. Then to crush the rest of the show Abby sciuto left. None of the replacements have been able to fill their shoes. Gibbs is different now. He is more serious now and looks so much older. McGee without tony is dull. I like Cia Agent Fornell but he is not in the shows as much anymore. they should include him more because I like the chemistry between Fornell and Gibbs. Dr Mallard/Ducky is sweet as ever and I am glad he still has small roles . he is the oldest and I understand can no longer endure the hours. Jimmy Palmer has done a good job at taking over as medical examiner. I am glad Leon Vance is still there. others who have left a small dent in the show were Mike Franks, Jenny Shepard and clayton Reeves. the occasional appearances of Tony Dinozzo Senior is entertaining. But I believe the show has come to its end. it should bow out gracefully. It will never be the same or better. Even the writers are not as good as before. the writers have tried to move forward and evolve but chemistry and good story ideas are gone with the wind. maybe if they had created a chemistry between agents Bishop and Torres, and have Gibbs finally reconnect previous love interest with Dr Samantha Ryan. Maybe close friendships and story lines between McGee,Palmer and their wives. Because something is missing for NCIS. But, I will always re-watch seasons 1-13 because they remain the best seasons of all.
