Terrible. Terrible acting, terrible story telling and storyline and awful dialogue. I was very excited for it to come out. I loved the movies but I always prefer series over movies, so it should've been fantastic. I watched the first 3 episodes and that's all I could tolerate. They jacked the story up so bad. The things the characters do and say in the series aren't even close to what people would actually do or say in real life. The actors and actresses don't look comfortable in their roles nor do they look comfortable interacting with each other. The acting and story are what's so bad. The rest of it was fairly well done. I probably won't watch anymore of it. I really wanted it too be good, I just can't seem to convince myself it is. This is not a knock on the children actors, it's a giant knock on the writers, directors, ect. God bless P.S. I didn't read the books. I just happen to love this type of story, magic, mythical creatures and gods, ect. Harry Potter, Avatar- The Last Airbender, ect. So this is all based on the 2 movies they did and my love of this type of story. It's terrible. My 8 year old daughter didn't like it either.
