Ignore the low reviews, this show is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.

Just insulting. As a huge How I Met Your Mother fan I was so upset after watching the first few episodes of this show. It’s way too soon to be “rebooting” a classic like HIMYM. Let alone doing a terrible job of bringing it back to life. Not only is it an awful, generic, cringey show in general, but it will be forever attached to HIMYM. Did it HAVE to use the same theme music???? Did it have to use the same apartment???? The same NAME???? The same narration technique?? I don’t think it’s even possible to recreate HIMYM- the chemistry, the comedy, everything that made it so special, so why try? Why even bother rebooting it? A huge let down. If you’re a HIMYM fan- DO NOT watch this show.

One of my all time favourites, only started watching once the series had wrapped up as it was recommended to me by a friend. I get that parts of this show don’t sit well with people as it’s considered problematic and offensive, however they are missing the point. The major theme in Glee ARE the problematic storylines which are shown to be problematic and ironic. I was hooked from the pilot episode until the very end. It’s full of entertainment the whole way through, it’s hilarious, it’s emotional and the music is incredible, the song covers are amazing and the premise of the show is so clever. Characters are over the top and full of personality, but that is what makes the show exciting and worth watching. The characters are relatable enough and the plot lines cover a wide range of things inside and outside of high school. The acting is awesome and the talent is extraordinary. I’ve never seen a show like this one and I could recommend it to anyone. The 6 seasons in my opinion remain strong the whole way through, the cast changes a bit with new actors coming in and I feel that it only freshened up the episodes and added more untapped content. I was a bit worried about all the singing (as it is a singing show) since I’m not a huge fan of musicals, but I absolutely adored the musical aspect of every single episode and think it was done exceptionally. The characters are so memorable and underneath all of the craziness they are all good people at heart, including the shows antagonist(SUE!). Ahh, I could go on about this show, and I could watch it over and over. Definitely give it a go!

Can’t understand all of these negative reviews. This show was so well done, the actors did an amazing job and every performance was so captivating and perfect for a “who did it” thriller. The ending was so unexpected, but in a believable and unfortunately realistic way. The turns and twists keep you entertained the whole way through. The show doesn’t drag at all and does a brilliant job at highlighting in each episode different characters and their perspective and connection to the story. The characters are shown as potential suspects capable of committing or being involved in a suspicious and heinous crime, and everyone has something to hide- but it’s not what you think. A very good series from Netflix- absolutely worth a watch!

Overall, okay. Watchable enough, classic Disney humour which can be a little cringey at times and seems like it’s trying too hard. I was really excited about this series following on from the original films. However, the script is definitely targeted at a younger age bracket but can still be enjoyed by adults. It’s a fun show to watch and Lauren Graham is fantastic, her scenes with Bombay are great.

Hands down the best sitcom ever to be made, I adore absolutely everything about it. Such an underrated show, don’t understand the lack of hype- It is so much better than ‘friends’! Everything from the plot lines, the dialogue, the continuity, the foreshadowing, the character development and the overall structure of the show is brilliant. I didn’t hold high hopes when I began watching this show, but my opinion changed very quickly. I binged all 9 seasons and wanted more, equally as fresh and entertaining all the way through. This isn’t a typical comedy, it is way more than that. Each episode is filled with real and relatable messages for viewers. The five leads have such real and honest chemistry on screen, which makes it everything so much more believable and a joy to watch. The ending which has received a lot of hate is actually the best part, so please don’t let this keep you from watching. But the ending doesn’t change the rest of the show, which is about friendship, love, growth and navigating life with some good friends. This is the only show that I could rewatch again and again for the rest of eternity.

This show is so cringey it’s not even funny. The dialogue is just ridiculous- do any teens really talk/act like this? Every character is so dramatic and they come off quite irritating it’s almost hard to watch. It’s way overdone and the overall plot is corny and just seems thrown together. The characters fit the typical profiles for a show like this, I don’t feel attached to any of them and can’t find any redeeming qualities about them. It’s like they have several concepts and ideas running in the show at the same time so it ends up looking like a train wreck. Why make a series about a school putting on a musical of another Disney movie? How is this a clever or entertaining premise to a show? They should’ve set the show in the High School Musical universe where this new generation of kids go through life and school at East High. Not so much focus on them taking part in a ‘school musical’. As a fan of the original movies I am really disappointed with this as I was hoping to like it- I’m still unsure which age group the show is aimed at, doesn’t seem like it’s to be enjoyed by all. Really sad that this is the “sequel” to the movies as it should really be no way related to the High School Musical films. So much potential, really missed the mark with this one.

The best pick me up show ever, it is HILARIOUS. I absolutely adore this show, I have probably seen it 3 or 4 times the whole way through. It is completely rewatchable and I always look forward to being able to see it again. A lighthearted sitcom with extremely rich and loveable characters. You can’t help but love and root for every single person in this show. Every season is so much fun to watch and the quality never drops- which isn’t always the case with long running tv programs. It is written so well and I love the continuity and Easter eggs in every season- you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the writing process. The chemistry between the Heck family and the supporting characters in the show are unlike most other shows. It is such an underrated show that everyone should watch. If you need a good laugh this is definitely for you. It’s hard to find a show with a family dynamic that is as relatable as The Middle. A family struggling to get by but making the most of it together. Each character is so unique and different, but they work so well together. Definitely a must see!

This show is so underrated and that surprises me as it is brilliant. This is absolutely not a show that I would think I could like. I had no expectations, but boy was I wrong. The amount of things I have learnt and could eventually understand about this show is incredible. It also never gets boring, every episode packs a punch and not for a second did I get tired of it. It covers so many aspects and it is equally as hilarious, heartfelt, emotional, smart and clever. It is so well written, the dialogue is exceptional, storylines are entertaining and keep you on the edge of your seat and the characters are so well established. I never in a million years thought I could actually love and enjoy a legal drama tv show, but this show has proven me wrong. I could recommend this show to absolutely anyone, I had minimal knowledge of American law and was worried I wouldn’t understand anything but eventually I could follow on very well. 9 seasons long and it never loses quality- characters remain fresh and enjoyable to watch the whole way through. The chemistry between the actors is also great, and you can’t help but root for every character. I love how it’s a serious show but also adds in humour very well. Doesn’t seem corny or out of place. This is absolutely a show unlike anything out there. Such a bingeable and rewatchable show. Hard to review and not give away too much. You won’t regret adding it to your watch list!

Only just finished watching this show for the first time- I had never really heard much about it and it wasn’t recommended to me, so I didn’t think I would like it very much, but I was wrong. It’s a really sweet and unique show about life, family, relationships and getting through highs and hardships together. I’ve never seen anything like it, I’m absolutely hooked on it. It’s a little corny at times, but it’s equally as funny and heartfelt and you can definitely relate to the content. A wide range of everyday topics are covered and dealt with in this series and done in such a tasteful way. The characters are unlikeable and unbearable at times and incredibly flawed, but I still really enjoy watching it. The growth of each character from beginning to end is so incredible and the journey throughout the series is so special for viewers. The chemistry between the actors is clear and really helps the audience to gain a feel of family. The dynamic between the family and the balance of personalities and traits are also brilliantly written and acted out. This show is definitely bingeworthy and incredibly underrated, wish it went on for longer. Worth the watch!!
