NBC’s coverage is great from a technical standpoint and information from the announcers is excellent, however, their commentary coverage is somewhat disappointing and has a lot of room for improvement. Not saying they are not knowledgeable about the topic, just not providing the best viewer experience. I have not watched every event and the ones that I have watched are pretty much all the same, mediocre. The one thing that I believe would move the broadcast into high gear is to introduce the competitors in the order and at the same time as the house announcements. This would allow the television viewing audience to have a sense of being a part of the attending audience hearing the roar and applaud and react to each competitor being introduced at the same time. This goes for the entire presentation, including covering the opening and closing ceremony coverage. Please help NBC improve the viewing audience experience. After all, isn’t that the goal?
