Terrible, lacking any heart or soul. The young girl tasked with playing Charlie just came across as angry all of the time, completely missing the terror and tragedy that Barrymore nailed in the original movie. They left out Rainbird’s long con with Charlie, a truly essential part of the story. I could go on. Ultimately, it was boring and left me wondering why they even bothered.
