My initial review was a 6, I'd probably leave it there to be fair. I enjoy Drake's versatility and sound, even if thematically the album leaves a lot to be desired, but I've just accepted that won't ever be a thing with Drake. Too many songs, no theme to the album. With that said, the songs I DO like have really grown on me 3 out of 23 songs; the features on the album were not as impressive as Drake’s classics were. The only songs that go on my playlist are First Person Shooter (feat.J Cole), 8am in Charlotte and Away From Home. I’ve now accepted that most Drakes aren't for me anymore. His r&b records don’t hit the same level to me nowadays. The writing seems uninspired and his singing certainly doesn’t make up for it. I get why he’s the top rapper in the world still, I won’t deny his talent, his recent song in ‘UTOPIA’ was just impressive due to the fact that there was some kind of rhythm and bass in it which suits Drake. It’s just not for me anymore.

Travis Scott's latest album, Utopia. After listening to the album 10 times, I found that I enjoyed all 19 out of the 19 tracks. Utopia is a breath of fresh air. The intro and outro are particularly impressive, and the first and last few songs are standout tracks. The middle section with various guest artists were impressive especially ‘FE!N’ & ‘MELTDOWN (feat.Drake). Despite this, the album is well-arranged thanks to Travis's skillful management of artist presence. It is worth a listen and deserves time to sink in. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 9. It remains to be seen if Utopia will improve with time like Kendrick's latest release. While the album did meet my personal expectations, I encourage others to give it a chance and form their own opinions. This album for sure is the winner of ‘Rap Album Of The Year’
