The movie has terrible acting, terrible script, cheesy music and many other flaws besides. However pretty much know the whole script now having watched it at least twice a year for last 30 years. Its so terrible but bizarrely absolutely brilliant. I really try not to watch it but tend to give in. For me Victor Lin steals the film. You Jackson you look like a Jackson....cracks me up.

Not the best. Poorly acted, dreadful musical score not in keeping with the genre. Some redeeming features but generally a harder watch than I anticipated . Dont know what I expected! But this is not it, This is not it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the series. The acting was extremely well done and the narrative was excellent. I didn't know what to expect from the series but was hooked within minutes of the first episode. Well worth a watch and pretty sure anyone who may have some misconceptions about watching it will be glad they did.

The first 10 minutes or so I thought oh no this is going to be terrible, thereafter I think it found its stride. The original was one of my favourite childhood 80s movies so it was probably never going to better it, nostalgia and all. The sequel was good. For me Wesley Snipes stole the film. He was completely over the top. I think that's to Eddie Murphys credit. The original was slated by the critics but audiences loved it. Seems history is repeating itself much like a lot of the film. Watch it and form your own opinion. Reviews are subjective.

Well my girlfriend who hates subtitles loved this more than me. I gave it a 9.9. Its probably the best program I have seen on the BBC. Worth the licence alone.

Not my favourite film ever. Disappointed to be fair. Glad I didnt pay to see it in the cinema.

As someone who lives in Scotland, which doesn't get much exposure to the NBA but obviously we hear mention of the biggest stars, this show was absolutely a revelation. Absolutely gutted there won't be a series 3. Everyone who participated in the show really excelled and I felt like I was watching a documentary of historical events rather than an HBO show. Absolutely amazing.
