I myself do not like historical dramas, but this one is an exception. This drama has left me waiting impatiently after every episode and tells a gripping story about the main MC's current lives and past lives. Although this drama includes a fantasy element, I would not let this sway you as it adds an incredible amount of detail that will help guide you through the story. Count it as a free lesson on Korean folk tales and history. :) I would recommend this drama to everyone who is looking for a drama to remember and would not be surprised if this drama wins 'Best Drama' this year!
