This started decently - I was intrigued enough to let it play out. The big fat bearded cowboy actually was the best character in my opinion; I liked him as a villain. Sadly the plot is an absolute mess, as if someone started writing and just didn’t know where to go with it. I’m really starting to think that I could write a tv script, because the rubbish that gets green-lit these days is truly mind-boggling. I am writing this review in the middle of episode 5 because I’ve lost all interest. I saw someone else say they stopped watching when the lead said he “couldn’t drive stick” - likely a smart move. It’s all downhill from there, especially after the lead drinks LSD-laced water and hallucinates; just dreadful writing. The only reason I’m giving it two stars (probably deserves only one) is the effort of the actors. The writers should likely look for a different line of work.
