A beautiful movie which is a truly perfect adaptation of “magical realism “. A lovely journey through the century of a imaginative lifetime.

I can understand the reason for so many negative reviews, but not for the reasons stated. I believe the reviewers simply cannot identify with the character’s relationships of 50 years, and the actual plot of trying to reconnect and overcome/forgive past hurts and grievances. I’m in the rare position of having similar friendships of 50+ years, and I could put personal names from my own life to each character. It was comforting for me to realize that someone was intuitive enough to even script such realistic women from differing backgrounds, being close friends from an early age, and harboring personal negativity for decades. I can definitely relate, thus my love of this movie. Bravo to the three glorious actresses who pulled off reality for women of a certain age and experiences!
