CTA SITREP

The show is Halo in name only and wears it like a skin suit. There’s little to no reference to the actual lore. There’s so many directions they could have gone without ruining the core story of the Spartan IIs or unmasking John though every episode. From someone who has been dedicated to the story from 2001 to present day, this does the Halo series a massive disservice and would have been a million times better off going the animated route with writers and staff who know the lore and want to turn it from written to visual medium. Instead we get hyper emotional angsty characters who are supposed to be more stoic, professional, quiet, and perhaps a bit sarcastic at times. The wider audience approach is NOT the way to go. But sure, burn every beloved franchise to the ground.
