I have never ever, ever written a review about a movie, ever before this. With that said, how Rotten Tomatoes gives this movie a 4% year is beyond me and a crime. In fact it is for that sole reason I am writing this review. I have no personal connection to the things that happen in the story line to give me some unreasonable perspective about the movie. Further, the only reason I watched the movie is the Audience Review was a 4.4 out of 5, and the Rotten Tomatoes was a 4%. So I had to watch it to see how there could be such a huge difference. The Audience Review wins. To give it a 4% is just wrong. It is a well done, poignant movie about the tragedy of a young woman who is diagnosed with cancer. Does it resemble a Hallmarkish, sappy kind of movie at times? Yes. However, it combines the well paced funny scene with a well placed sad version of what must be reality in this a real life disease. So for all those that want to laugh and cry, and watch a true comedy drama, that actually makes you laugh and cry, this is your movie. 4%? Shame on you!!!
