Matthew Smith – Google

I only watched the first hour, but it wasn't my thing. I don't like the chaotic editing style. The premise is a little too far fetched for me. While it is meant to be emotionally resonant, I didn't feel connected to the characters. I felt nothing. I could see how somebody could enjoy it, if they are really into the idea of string theory or a multiverse. For me, those ideas are far fetched. If nothing else, I find those ideas to be irrelevant to my life.

This movie is fun because it's so unique and weird. You think it's a cheesy kid's movie at first, but it gets surprisingly serious at some points. Some of the character reactions to certain situations are unexpected and strange, which is funny. I almost feel like it fits in the "so bad it's good" category, but it's not completely bad. It has its charms. The dialogue is fairly well written despite being strange at times. The magical story is fun.
