The hype leading up to the release of the movie set high expectations for an exploration into the life of the man deemed the "Father of the Atomic Bomb".
Several of the many great actors delivered solid performances, but they could not offset the approach taken in delivering the content.
First, 3hrs is a long movie, but we have all attended long movies that fly by and you do not want it to end. This is not one of those movies. It could have easily been reduced to 2hrs with the removal of many of the long, dragging sections.
Second, having it being told mostly from the perspective of conference room testimony and Congressional committees presented as a very flat approach.
Save your money and catch this one once it is offered for free on Netflix in a few weeks.....if you need a way to consume 3hrs with little to show for it.
