What's up with the hatorade? *** I really liked it. It is intense and entertaining with a message. Somehow the critics are judging it against a different stick than the average mindless superhero/action movies and expects of it even more depth than it already has - which is way more than the average comparable movie. *** If you don't have a stick up your butt and you want to enjoy a pretty good movie watch it.

Powerful and beautifully made. It shows the most diverse diaspora of people. Diverse in terms of age. Diverse in terms of gender, gender identity, and sexuality. Diverse in terms of race. Diverse in terms of global representation. Diverse in terms of socio economic status and financial power. And finally, diverse in the types of struggles people face. The four stars are for the limited solutions offered. There were some, but mostly it was about awareness. Maybe season 2 will bring about more content focusing on solutions?

This show is in my soul. Beautiful, light, funny, and absolutely, deeply, devastatingly heartbreaking. They make you almost not pay attention that in this world, which exists in many neighbourhoods, kids by age 14 can tell what kind of bullet someone is shooting just by listening to the sound of the gunfire. They distract you with comic relief, lightness, humour, corkiness, some teen happenings, and then boom they hit you hard, down to your soul with reality. I've finished watching it a few days ago and it hasn't left me despite other distractions and binges on the quarantine.
