I watched it because I loved the TV show, but this was very disappointing and the 2 hours of the movie felt like4.

Jenna Ortega is excellent as Wednesday Addams. Her portrayal of Wednesday is spot on and probably one of the best Wednesday Addams every. I’m going back and watching the series a 2nd time right now because I have ADD at times and get on FB while watching TV and miss a lot of it. Catherine Zeta-Jones makes an excellent Mortician Addams. She is still as beautiful as when I first saw her in Entrapment and still has an amazing figure. Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams was OK, but Pugsley was never really a pivotal party of the show or movies. I really could not take Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams. Gomez had always been a slim good looking and debonair gentleman and an overweight and kind of gross looking Luis Guzmán as Gomez didn’t cut it for me.

I don’t know what yeas expecting when I saw the trailer on my FireStick, but I was very dissatisfied and the 1hr 38 minute first episode seemed like it took 4 hrs to watch. I may try to watch the next episode, but I’m not sure.
