I really wanted to love this game. Iv played most of the AC games since the original. It looks nice and the world is detailed and lavish, but it feels quite bland, running along rooftops and getting to the viewpoints lacks a sense of discovery, it’s more of a rote step. The stealth mechanics are ok, traversing/parkour feels a bit clunky (almost delayed?), it just doesn’t feel like a triple A game. I’m happy with the size & length of gameplay. It just falls short in a lot of other departments. I found odyssey to be very engaging and I loved the massive open world. Valhalla was great again although I didn’t love the step away from stealth/assassin gameplay. It feels like a space filler rather than the next graduation in the series.
