My mom used this book for everything.I have memories of Christmas cookies and meatloaf on Sundays. I had my kids and wanted it so bad but my mom said nope you can have it when I'm dead! Lol sooo my amazing kind beautiful husband found the exact 1978 version and gave it to me on Mother's day!!!! My kids grew up with the same recipes and same smell of fried chicken and cakes and cookies!!! My daughter is turning 21 in a few weeks and I'm ordering her the same 1978 book!! I love traditions and think everyone should try to keep them in their families!!! Yay for Betty crocker!!
