Great book of "memories"!! I grew up during this same time, and knew many of the people in the stories. It is a well written book, and anyone who hunts or fishes will not only be totally entertained, but will probably remember similar incidences from their own years of hunting (they may even recognize themselves as one of perpetrators in some of them) - stories that will likely bring back some laughable and happy memories. The author even shares stories that somewhat incriminate and should embarrass him. He doesn't mind poking fun of himself and his friends. He includes stories from various parts of Mississippi, and the book, overall, is a hoot. You might even learn how to do something, or maybe how NOT to do something. Five big stars!!
