I have yet to see the stage version of TikTok boom and I'm happy. I'll be. Because then I would have judged judged this film accordingly. And I hate when people judge one piece of art against another. The fact of the matter is Andrew Garfield is mesmerizing in this film. Hes so on. Hes so unlike himself and all you do is feel the anxed and stress and the hope in the faith in the fear that is being an artist trying to make it who feels like they're running out of time period we all know what happened to Jonathan Larson 6 years down the road from when this movie takes place and you feel that loud hanging above them through the whole film. There are some parts that I think Lynn Manuel Miranda overdid. And I was very happy he didn't have a principal part in this film. But I just thought it was beautiful. I've cried probably the last 45 minutes. I felt so much for this character and what he was trying to do. It was a beautiful film and the last number hit me like a ton of bricks. I've always appreciated Andrew Garfield as an actor but this was better than I could have ever expected him to do. Kudos to lin-manuel Miranda for recognizing that this wonderful actor could play this part
