The movie was so much fun to watch! This was also my first time watching an anime movie in a theatre, so it was cool to see everything on a big screen.

In the beginning, I was hesitant about Liu Yifei playing Mulan. However, she has proved me wrong. I really loved her performance as Mulan. The movie was so beautiful and I am glad that the director cast her as Mulan. To everyone who is unsure of whether Mulan is worth watching, I think it kinda depends on whether you can accept some historical inaccuracies (i.e., Mulan's house, clothes, makeup, etc.) and also elements of Disney's Mulan animation. I personally didn't mind these issues as much, so I was able to enjoy the movie. The serious tone of the movie worked for me, and I'm glad that I decided to give this movie a chance. I've watched Mulan two times already and am planning on watching it again :)
