In the end, only mildly interesting. Great acting, as usual, by Waltz who tries gamely to carry the whole thing along, but I kept feeling like I was on a spluttering plane struggling to take off. Just when you think there are real possibilities, some more splutter. The plot line is overly self involved, and for me, just too many things were left unresolved. But maybe this was intentional in the wishful hope of a second season. Such promise, but ultimately, frustratingly meh. Oh, and it isn't comedy.
