I’ve been playing Final Fantasy games for many years and this is possibly my favorite entry so far. Is it different than what most have come to expect from the FF franchise? Yes and no. To me, it feels like I’m playing FF the way it was always meant to be played. The storyline is gripping and beautiful, both in-game graphics and cinematics are gorgeous. The gameplay is customizable, and there are many built-in tools which make the game accessible for those of us with memory/cognitive/processing issues who may struggle with complex storylines or gameplay mechanics. I haven’t fallen in love with a game this way since FFVII. 10/10, I absolutely love it!!

I was excited for this series for months before the first episode aired. It lived up to my expectations and exceeded them. It’s a beautifully done period piece. The sets and costumes are breathtaking!! The writing, cinematography and acting are also excellent. Hoping for many more seasons and looking forward to further character development, particularly for Peggy and her family, Marian, Larry, Gladys, Jack, Bridget and Mr. and Mrs. Russell.
