Being a musician, I was very interested in seeing the movie about Leonard Bernstein, one of my favorite composers of the contemporary era. I loved the switch from black and white to color. Bradley Cooper was phenomenal as the maestro, and Carey Mulligan was equally amazing. If this movie does not get multiple awards, I will be very surprised. This is totally Bradley Cooper’s genius as producer, director, writer of the screenplay. He had enormous help from LB’s children. Cooper spent 6 years to learn how to conduct and act like Bernstein. This is a must see movie.
