***MAJOR SPOILERS***
Once into it I got super attached to some of the main characters like Axel Mohammad and former villain Julius, who surprisingly turns out to be the nicest, most genuine guy in there. It's refreshing to see him do as much good as possible to make up for all the evil he inflicted as we see. I'll be sad if he doesn't make a comeback, he and Axel. Axel, another favourite he brings the humour to the series without a doubt! Hopefully both characters return ALIVE in S5!!! The show is of course thrilling action PACKED, tons of gruesome fight scenes between humans and vamps. Some scenes are very unrealistic to say the least like the amount of vampires/feral packs they end up killing off between the very few of them. In reality they at least they would've got bit or humans severely injured or died like when Flesh got torn apart from daywalkers and crawled out his grave, jumped off a building... Just too unrealistic and ridiculous without explanation is he immortal??? If I'm honest, I only continued watching for the other characters excluding Vanessa, Dracula, Scarlett, Elders, witch lady etc. I was way more inclined into other storylines going on like Sam's sinister rampage, growing obsession & backstory, Flesh and his look for his wife (S4 ep6. Total madness. By far the best episode of the season. He at last got his peace and found his family with a real satisfying end to it. Mohammad's survival out in the woods, then captured and turned vampire for a bit unexpectedly. Julius, Axel, the Doc's survival throughout the series. Nothing interests me about The Dark Realm, Witchy rituals sacrifice Van Helsing origin family history, another dimension stuff. It's become boring and a bit cliche, it's gone too deep. Hopefully they don't focus on that too much in S5 that'd be awfully disappointing. I was angry Sam hunted Mohammad in the end he was on the run. I kinda hoped Vanessa and Sam would have some humongous atrocious showdown, she finishes him for good and gets her desperate revenge, but instead he just turns into nothingness after becoming an Elder. That idea/tension was built up for how long? Unsatisfied. Julius went back for Frankie, a woman he knew for 5 minutes after Denver had been taken over by much more powerful vampires the Sisterhood. That was stupid lol, risked his life for what?!
