1.5: Hitchcock + Lucas would not be proud. Birds are pointless after a while. Nor ape nor human. The film is dull, OVERLY long (but not with the correct scenes!). Plot is rushed and ruined. If it tried to mimic any movie, it was mediocre in the execution. Poor direction and character relation and performance. Did not connect to viewer well before doing their tasks. Will not uppar this for flashy cgi. Beginning terrible, midst ok, ending terrible. Watch on DVD just to see if deleted scenes add fulfillments.
