I had watched a Dateline episode about this case before the Netflix documentary came out, so I knew that they had left out some things. I had no idea the depths that these creators went to, to make Avery look innocent. Edited phone calls and testimony. Omitted evidence. It honestly makes you feel like you can't even trust documentaries anymore. I'm glad that the director and producers took their time to do this.
