While the film is beautiful and enjoyable. I was a little miffted to wait 10+ years for a rewrite of Moby Dick and Titanic. Cameron mirrored concepts and scenes from Titanic. At least the whale was big enough to support the key characters and no one had to dramatically drown and freeze to death. Se eral characters needed more development and too many hanging plot points. Hopefully we don't have to wait 10 years for #3.
