Anyone giving a bad rating has no idea the references to old Hollywood and basically how this film props itself up with the ending when manny realized the movie he was watching summed up his entire experience in Hollywood/film. The 3 hours is a little long, a few more edits could’ve happened or more exciting/explained scenes to help button up the references to those who have no idea of the classics being the inspiration. You will definitely be uncomfortable with some scenes but I believe they are in there to stress the absolute gross under belly of Hollywood. Great movie over all. If it’s not a hit now it will be in a few decades when people can look back and be like wow they nailed it.
