One of the best Ninjago seasons, take it from a fan and not a critic. I love how they keep old characters, but they switch up the dynamic to keep it interesting and engaging. Going into it I was very scared that they were going to sell out and make the series look bad, but I genuinely liked it and was met with a pleasant surprise! I also feel like they implemented the new characters very well, and they aren’t one sided at all. Even wildfire (maybe one of the most static characters this season) gets character development via her student / best friend relationship with Kai. The world building is incredible and I feel like past elements as well as new elements have been fused together perfectly. The world they are in FEELS bigger to the audience. There is so much mystery and so many questions and so much to explore and it’s really amazing. Bravo Ninjago team!
