A terrific weaving of the simple guidance by a handicapped child and the difficullt decisions necessitated in Northern Mexico in the early 20th century provides a complex background for this book. It is beautifully written and captures the soul! I have not been this captivated by a book in years. I could not put it down and it will come back to me in messages and Images for a very long time.
