I’m so glad I didn’t read the critics reviews before watching The Starling. I found it portrayed the honest truths of life, loss, and crippling depression. Melissa McCarthy, Chris O’Dowd, and Kevin Kline each drew me in to their characters with believability and heartfelt performances. A must see for everyone. We all know someone who has, or is, going through difficult times. I’d also like to add that Brandi Carlile’s song “It Wasn’t Me” is moving. Brings me to tears, every time.
