While sheltering in place, "Watchmen" seemed the ideal series to become lost in. I don't regret my investing time on it at all. Though my son said it capitalized on the DC series' title only, this HBO series still has many merits and am somewhat saddened it wasn't the best series for an Emmy considering it's unique approach to race issues that brought the Tulsa, Oklahoma event to light. Oh so timely in 2020. Watchmen's puzzling stories also wove in many artful images that stayed with me days after watching. How the creators played with the TITLE to each episode were visual teasers. The Nostalgia episode tied it all together for me, especially as Angela was mirrored with her ancestors. And the music? Smart, well orchestrated and totally enjoyable.
