As a huge fan of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka in the original, I was pleasantly surprised with Timothee Chalamet’s portrayal. The music was fun, the chocolate factory whimsical and the story line quite entertaining!! Although I still love the original, this one was a great sequel. Never wanted to see Johnny Depp in the earlier sequel - seemed a bit creepy IMO. Chalamet’s character was genuine and the young girl who interacted with him was so enjoyable to watch!! Definitely a win for me!!
