If you are not familiar with the book, then this would be a great movie. But if you are, then you will see that most of the book wasn't in movie. Christopher was silly not to have a bit more control over the making of this. I give it 3 stars for the fact it's a beautifully made movie. But 2 stars for ruining a book that . If made by the book... so-to-speak . It could have equaled LOR.
