The show is very compelling and well directed. The subject of matrimonial scamming that is so prevalent in India is so jarring and hard to stomach at times. I appreciate the team that worked on producing such a powerful documentary on such damaging societal issue. Good on the team for as well include an expert psychologist to outline how this kind of misogynistic emerges. The dialogue between the discussant and victims canvases the severity of what pain, loss and panic these scheme impart on a community of people. My real frustration is with the person who was tasked with translating and transcribing the video material for the purposes of the closed captions. Even when the women speak in clear English, shortened and inadequate sentences are provided which just butcher the meaning of the victims. I think this does a great disservice to people who want to learn from these experiences. Insult is done further To the women who want to make an impact by informing others of such horrid online schemes.
