Peter Jackson found a way to beautifully portray the loss, grief and anger of a child murdered. It's not a movie I could recommend to just anyone. Having lost my entire immediate family it hit me hard. Bring lots of tissue. I cried for hours.
I really liked the way the movie doesn't 'glorify' the villain.
