Really unenjoyable game filled with so many endorsement deals it’s embarrassing. For beginners MyCareer seems to be way to difficult but this is obviously to encourage users to purchase in-game currency - an example of this is I had to do a fastbreak coach drill and my player was too slow to get to the other end of the court in the allotted time 7 seconds (literally everyone in my family can run quicker than this).The drills overall are not fun when you first start MyCareer due to your low attributes. Another example of 2k trying to bait players into buying VC is the fact that my player cane into the NBA at a 61 overall rating, it’s the lowest on the Pels by 7 overall, even Tony Snell (a basketball player famous for putting up the worst statline in NBA history) is miles better than MyPlayer.The town that you have to navigate round in MyCareer is quite ugly and laborious to traverse round, you player moves so slow moving around town and it feels like you spend so much time running from place to place doing boring “quests”, this is not an RPG, i don’t want to run around for 80% if the time, I want to play basketball. They even give you a skateboard to help you move quicker but the movement is so clunky it gives me a migraine.
