I was looking forward to this show. In fact, I even texted my son and told him to record it for my 4 grand babies (ages 4 thru 10) so we could watch it together tomorrow night while I babysit. As I’m watching the show tonight, I find myself feeling a little bad for those dogs. Clearly, the groomers not only have a passion for what they are doing but they seem to be kind and loving towards the animals. That said, I feel like the show may cause the groomers to push the limits in an effort to meet the expectations of the show which I feel ultimately pushes boundary’s - boundary’s which can be considered borderline animal abuse- I say that as one who has had multiple dogs over my lifetime- all of whom did not like being groomed and as such they had tremendous anxiety when having to go to to the groomer as well as anxiety throughout the grooming process. I think it’s too much.
