yes, there is very little dialogue, which is what made me take off one star, but the thing is, that gives you so much room to really interpret the story yourself. after watching the movie myself a few times, there is a lot of things and symbolism that make the movie a story, not just an "animation." and if your still confused, there is so many interpretations of the show online, and although there is not just one solid meaning, that's what makes the show so unique, and i love that. and the art, the music...oh my goodness. absolutely stunning.
