The most powerful segment of this show was the last episode, but in my opinion I don't believe most viewers will make it that far (that probably would have included me too if I hadn't binged it in a single evening). While quirky, most of the episodes were too generic, over the top, or not well balanced. Being a show hosted by Adam Conover, I expected the exaggerated acting but there was little new or detailed information and just felt like a production written for adults (profanity) by writers that usually do Saturday Morning educational shows.
But the importance of local elections and how the narrative was pivoted after the interview with Obama to promote this concept was very well done. Still over the top as Adam normally does, but it delivered a strong message.
If this were edited into a shortened documentary style cut focused around the final episode, I could easily see it adapted into high school government classes. Especially with the inclusion of the former president's interview.
