Even Elizondo

This movie enraged me. They dangle the hope of a new habitable planet, but in the end only two people, a man and a pregnant woman remain alive. Anyone who knows basic biology knows that is insufficient genetic diversity for re-population. It would cause catastrophic non-viable inbreeding. Therefore at the end of the movie there is there is no hope. The two adults will return to the planet, have their child and eventually die leaving that child, perhaps with a sibling or two, alone on a desolate planet with no hope. All that heroic struggle for nothing.I hated it.
