Fantastic movie, it did not need to go this hard! Great characters with amazing character arcs and the villains are both funny and scary(if you watched you’ll know what I mean). It teaches such a great lesson about valuing your life and not have to live up to something you used to be when you already met and have amazing friends and family. Go give this movie a watch! You won’t regret it.

Man I really like this movie! Not only is it nostalgic, it holds up really well with enjoyable characters, a good story, and a fantastic villain. Hopper is really smart and intimidating, it’s scary to think of him as a more powerful being than a mere grasshopper. And to consider that this was made in 1998, the animation and environment is insanely impressive. The only big thing I don’t like about this movie is how awful the ants treated Flik(except for Dot). Yes it was comedical a lot of the time, but there are times where it got out of hand, he really didn’t deserve that. He genuinely was trying to help them and was the only reason the ants fought back and were freed. I do think the liar plot line is a bit stupid too. But even with that, the movie is still really good and enjoyable. One of the more underrated Pixar films.
